Account Project Lead (Hybrid)

Position Summary
The Account Project Lead provides project coordination and execution support for designated client accounts at The D5 Group in an independent contractor capacity. This role supports timeline management, deliverable tracking, and task coordination across Company-approved contractors and vendors.
This role is limited in scope and does not include strategy development, pricing, sales activity, or independent client authority. All final decisions, approvals, and client relationships remain with the CEO.
Scope and Limitations of Authority
This role operates within a clearly defined and limited scope. The Account Project Lead:
- Does not provide strategic input or recommendations
- Does not participate in sales, pricing, proposals, or business development
- Does not modify scope, deliverables, timelines, or work plans
- Does not negotiate with clients, partners, or vendors
- Does not represent the Company independently or act as a spokesperson
- Does not supervise, hire, discipline, or evaluate employees or contractors
- Does not bind, obligate, or commit the Company legally or financially
- Does not communicate directly with government agencies or public entities unless expressly authorized in writing by the CEO
- Performs all work under the direction of the CEO, who retains all final authority
Core Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain project timelines, task lists, and delivery schedules for assigned accounts
- Coordinate task flow among Company-approved contractors and vendors
- Track deliverables for completeness and deadline compliance
- Prepare internal project status summaries for CEO review
- Draft client update communications for CEO approval prior to distribution
- Monitor progress and flag risks, delays, or scope concerns to the CEO
- Maintain accurate and current project documentation and records
Compliance Support Responsibilities
- Follow Company approval workflows for client communications and deliverable release
- Maintain organized project records to support audit, reporting, and retention needs when applicable
- Track and document key dates (deliverable due dates, review dates, approval dates) in internal logs
- Flag potential compliance issues (missing documentation, unclear approvals, scope drift) to the CEO
- Refrain from issuing assurances, approvals, or confirmations that could be interpreted as a Company commitment
Deliverables and Performance Expectations
- Accurate and up-to-date project timelines and task tracking
- Timely internal status summaries aligned with CEO direction
- Organized and complete project documentation
- Early identification and escalation of risks, delays, or scope concerns
- Consistent adherence to scope and authority limitations
Required Qualifications
- Experience coordinating projects or client work in a professional services environment
- Strong organizational, tracking, and follow-through skills
- Clear and professional written communication
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables simultaneously
- Comfort working remotely with structured direction and approval workflows
Work Structure and Engagement Terms
- Independent contractor engagement
- Part-time services, limited to up to 30 hours per month
- No guaranteed hours
- Work is primarily remote, with limited pre-approved in-person activity
- This role is not a W-2 position
