Marketing Coordinator (Hybrid)

Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator provides execution-only marketing support for client marketing activities at The D5 Group in an independent contractor capacity. This role supports the accurate and timely completion of assigned marketing tasks, content scheduling, asset organization, and documentation.
This role is limited in scope and does not include strategy development, planning, pricing, sales activity, or independent client authority. All direction, approvals, and final decisions remain with the CEO.
Scope and Limitations of Authority
This role operates within a clearly defined and limited scope. The Marketing Coordinator:
- Does not develop marketing strategy or messaging
- Does not modify content without prior approval
- Does not communicate with clients independently
- Does not adjust scope, timelines, or deliverables
- Does not represent the Company externally
- Does not supervise, hire, discipline, or evaluate staff or contractors
- Does not bind, obligate, or commit the Company legally or financially
- Does not communicate directly with government agencies or public entities unless expressly authorized in writing by the CEO
- Performs all work from instruction, with all final authority retained by the CEO
Core Administrative Responsibilities
- Execute assigned marketing tasks as directed
- Schedule and publish pre-approved marketing content
- Upload, organize, and maintain digital assets across platforms and tools
- Format content for internal review and delivery
- Update task boards, trackers, and checklists
- Support basic reporting and documentation
- Flag missing inputs, errors, or blockers promptly
Compliance Support Responsibilities
- Follow Company approval workflows for content and deliverables
- Maintain organized records to support reporting, audit, and retention needs when applicable
- Track and document task completion dates and approval milestones
- Refrain from issuing confirmations or assurances that could be interpreted as Company commitments
- Flag potential compliance issues or scope drift to the CEO
Deliverables and Performance Expectations
- Timely and accurate execution of assigned marketing tasks
- Proper scheduling and publication of approved content
- Organized and up-to-date task tracking and documentation
- Prompt identification and escalation of issues or delays
- Consistent adherence to scope and authority limitations
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting marketing or communications execution
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow structured instructions and approval workflows
- Clear written communication skills
- Comfort working independently and remotely
Work Structure and Engagement Terms
- Independent contractor engagement
- Part-time services, limited to up to 30 hours per month
- No guaranteed hours
- Work is primarily remote, with limited pre-approved in-person activity
- This role is not a W-2 position
- This role may coordinate tasks with an Account Project Lead as directed by the CEO
